Porthcawl local Anne Gallagher is a fully qualified BSA/Surfing GB Level 2 Surf Coach and NARS Beach Lifeguard with over 8 years surfing experience, and 6 years teaching surfing to people of all ages and levels in Welsh waters.

Anne is a member of the West Coast Surf Club, and actively competes in local surf competitions. She is especially committed to encouraging more women to try out surfing, as well as helping   female surfers develop their confidence and skills up to competitive level.

Anne's love of the ocean expands beyond teaching, and she is also an experienced   film maker specialising in the great outdoors. With her company Tusker Films  she produces in house documentaries and programmes. Her latest film 'On The Push'  looks at environmental issues affecting surfers around the world.
