Born and brought up in Llantwit Major, Mark has over 33 years experience of surfing under his belt, and has travelled far afield across Europe, Australia, New Zealand, Bali and Indonesia seeking bigger and better waves!

Describing himself as a 'soul surfer', Mark has been involved in teaching children and young people for 14 years, specialising in those with learning or behavioural difficulties, working across the Vale of Glamorgan. Combining his love of teaching and surfing is the ultimate experience for Mark, who is a qualified BSA/Suring GB Level 1 Surf Coach and Beach Lifeguard.

Amy started surfing 5 years ago when her brother introduced her to the sport, and was hooked immediately. Based in Caerphilly, she is also a keen horse rider and cyclist, with a love for adventure and travel. She's surfed the best spots in Europe, and Morocco and recently took a year off to travel across the World.

Amy is a qualified BSA/Surfing GB Level 1 Surf Coach and Beach Lifeguard and loves seeing other people gain the same enjoyment from surfing the first time that she feels on every wave.

Mark is a qualified BSA/Surfing GB Level 1 Surf Coach, and Beach Lifeguard. He has recently completed his studies in Adventure Education at Chichester University. A keen surfer, with 5 years experience under his belt, Mark also has a passion for a range of Outdoor Adventure Activities, including mountain biking, football and skiing and has travelled across Europe and beyond. Mark also works as a Support Worker in Children's Residential Homes.

Mark joins the CSA Surf Coach team over our summer seasons, and we are very happy to have him!

The youngest member of our team, but no less qualified and enthusiastic, Arran will soon be starting a University degree. Based in Porthcawl, Arran has been a keen lifeguard and surfer for many years, and works as a local lifeguard and Outdoor Pursuits Instructor as well as Surf Coach. Arran is a qualified BSA/Surfing GB Level 1 Surf Coach and Beach Lifeguard.
