Cressey's Surf Academy can offer surf coaching sessions for small (from 3 people) and large groups (up to 8-10 people, to ensure quality attention) of any ability, anytime during the day or week, subject to availability. Special rates are available for school and youth groups - contact us for more information.

All equipment is provided, and we will make sure we take you to the beach with the waves most suitable for your ability. Most group sessions will be for beginners or improvers, but if you have a mix of both levels within your party that is also possible - our flexibility means surf coaching sessions are booked around your needs with an emphasis on safety and fun!

Surf coaching sessions are a fantastic activity to do with family or friends, either as a day out, part of your holiday or as a special event. Birthday parties, school trips, team building days and stag and hen groups are very popular, and Cressey's Surf Academy has a broad range of experience of working with all these groups and more. Book for a private group session or join one of our regular open group sessions as an individual.

Surfing in groups provides the best social experience when learning to surf, but also the most economical and cost effective - allowing you to book more sessions and continue to improve your wave riding skills! Learning to surf in a group is fantastic fun and an excellent bonding experience. Exactly what we teach you will depend on what you hope to get out of the lesson and what level of surfing ability those in the group currently have, but most sessions are a mix of dry land and water based teaching - leaving plenty of time for you to practice!
