Born and brought up in Llantwit Major, Mark has over 33 years experience of surfing under his belt, and has travelled far afield across Europe, Australia, New Zealand, Bali and Indonesia seeking bigger and better waves!

Describing himself as a 'soul surfer', Mark has been involved in teaching children and young people for 14 years, specialising in those with learning or behavioural difficulties, working across the Vale of Glamorgan. Combining his love of teaching and surfing is the ultimate experience for Mark, who is a qualified BSA Level 1 Surf Coach and Beach Lifeguard.

Amy started surfing 5 years ago when her brother introduced her to the sport, and was hooked immediately. Now aged 22, Amy has travelled to Europe to surf the best spots in France and Portugal, as well as venturing further afield to Morocco - although there are plenty more international waves she is keen to try!

Based in Caerphilly, she is always keen to be in the great outdoors, and when the waves are flat she enjoys horse riding and cycling among other pursuits. Amy is a qualified BSA Level 1 Surf Coach and Beach Lifeguard and loves seeing other people gain the same enjoyment from surfing the first time that she feels on every wave.
