Cressey's Surf Academy is based near the beaches of Porthcawl, about 25 mins outside of Cardiff, but offers lessons all along the South Wales coast wherever the best conditions are for that day - we go where the waves are!
Here are directions to the main beaches used for CSA Surf Lessons:
Leave M4 at Junction 37, follow A4229 towards Porthcawl. Follow signs towards Rest Bay beach at Nottage roundabout OR continue into the Town Centre and drive along the Esplanade out of the town. Take the next turning on the left keeping the coast on your left, and you come to Rest Bay. Parking is approx £3 for the day. We meet in the Car Park next to the Cressey's Surf Academy van.
CONEY (SANDY BAY)

After about 300m at the next small roundabout turn right into Mackworth Road. Follow the road down to the end. Before you get to the amusement arcades and shops turn left into the High Tide Car Park which looks onto the beach. This is free in winter, but a small charge is in place during summer months. We meet at the front of the Car Park - next to the Cressey's Surf Academy van.
